• Do you expedite the marriage licence?
   

Yes. We offer Fast-Track marriage registration, which expedites the completion and submission of your marriage in the Alberta Registry system. This service is included in our package pricing. Without Fast-Track registration, it can take up to 8 weeks for your marriage to be officially registered in Alberta, so this ensures your process is as smooth and stress-free as possible.
 

Important note: You apply for your marriage licence before your wedding (at a Registry office). After your ceremony, our Fast-Track service rushes the marriage registration so it’s officially recorded. Then, 48 hours after your wedding, you can visit any Registry office to order your official marriage certificate by mail ($40, 1–2 weeks) or with expedited courier ($60, pick up in 2–3 days).

 

• What is a Metaphysical Minister or Reverend?

Metaphysics embraces all belief systems and welcomes love in every form. As metaphysical officiants, our ceremonies are centered around positive, universal language such as love, remarkability, kindness, harmony, balance, and authenticity. Whether your ceremony is traditional or themed, our goal is to create a meaningful, inclusive, and deeply personal experience.

 

• We aren’t interested in a character wedding. Can we have a traditional ceremony?

Yes, absolutely! While our character weddings are a fun option for couples seeking something unique, the majority of the ceremonies we perform are traditional. We are here to create a beautiful, classic ceremony that perfectly reflects your personal style.

 

• Can you create a custom character if it isn't on your list?

We love creativity! If you have a character or theme in mind that isn't currently on our roster, please reach out to us. If it’s a possibility, we can certainly work with you to bring your vision to life for an additional fee.

 

• Do your character weddings include metaphysical elements?

Yes. Even in our character-themed ceremonies, we maintain our metaphysical roots. While the presentation is unique, playful, and themed, the heart of the ceremony remains deeply sincere. We weave in metaphysical themes like love, energy, strength, wisdom, and harmony to ensure that your wedding is not only fun but also truly meaningful and soulful.

 

• Can we have a meaningful ceremony without a specific religion?

Absolutely. Our Metaphysical ceremonies are designed to honour love in a way that feels authentic to you. Whether you are spiritual, non-religious, or looking for something entirely one-of-a-kind, we are dedicated to crafting a ceremony that celebrates your unique journey as a couple.

 

• Do you only perform weddings?

Not at all. We celebrate life’s milestones in all their forms! We are proud to officiate vow renewals, commitment ceremonies, friendship ceremonies, baby blessings, house blessings, and celebrations of life. We also offer content creation for your elopement, wedding ceremony, or your special event.  Please reach out for more information.

• Can you help us with our vows or ceremony script?

Absolutely. We know that finding the right words can be daunting, so we provide guidance, templates, and support to help you write vows that feel authentic. If you prefer to have us handle the scriptwriting entirely, we are happy to do that, too!

 

• How do you personalize the ceremony to “us"?

We don’t believe in "one-size-fits-all." Before the big day, we spend time getting to know your story, your values, and your vision. Whether it's weaving in a specific theme, incorporating meaningful poems or readings, or choosing just the right tone, from playful to deeply spiritual, we ensure the final script feels like it was written specifically for you.
