"My mission is to create a ceremony that feels as unique and vibrant as the love you share."

YOUR OFFICIANT, Dan Sia

After performing thousands of weddings in Las Vegas as a licensed wedding officiant, Dan is now thrilled to bring his one-of-a-kind experience to Alberta as a Reverend of the Metaphysical Church, a spiritual community that honours all paths, beliefs, and traditions. Dan welcomes couples of every faith, culture, and background, crafting ceremonies that reflect their unique love stories and values with sincerity and joy.

During his time in Las Vegas, Dan officiated at some of the city’s most iconic venues including The Little Vegas Chapel, Chapel of the Hearts, Sci Fi Wedding Chapel, and Kiss: Love It Loud Wedding Chapel. Known for his creativity and versatility, he’s performed everything from heartfelt, traditional ceremonies to unforgettable character weddings as Elvis, Dracula, Darth Vader, Batman, Star Trek captains, Doctor Strange and more.

A professional musician and arranger, Dan has spent over 20 years performing with headline entertainers and touring productions around the world. His credits include Chicago, Hairspray, and Mamma Mia!, along with top tribute acts like Bee Gees Gold, MJ Live, All Shook Up, and The Olivia Show. As a drummer, arranger, and orchestrator, Dan’s work spans pop, big band, and full orchestral productions. He has arranged and produced music available on major streaming platforms, including Shadows of Yesterday and Sabrina Plaisance-Sia.

Born and raised in Canada, Dan began his musical journey performing with the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra and studying music at UBC and Humber College. He studied drums and percussion under some of the world’s most respected mentors, including Sal Ferreras, Vern Griffiths, Jim Blackley, Mark Kelso, Paul DeLong, and Ed Soph, each shaping his artistry and approach to rhythm, performance, and musical storytelling.

In addition to his musical and officiant work, Dan is a homeschool teacher, husband, and compassionate listener who approaches every person and project with warmth, understanding, and creativity. Skilled in videography, photography, audio engineering, and music production tools such as Sibelius and Ableton Live, he continues to find joy in blending art, connection, and celebration in everything he does.

Now back in Canada, Dan is excited to share his talents through meaningful, memorable ceremonies and performances that celebrate love, life, and community.
